Welcome. You have made a great decision to do Media Studies. There will be a lot to learn but it will be creative, challenging, rewarding and thought provoking.
You will have three lessons a week and your first Assignment which forms part of your GCSE will be completed in the last two weeks of this term.
This blog is where all lessons will be posted so that you can look back on what we have done and this is also a place you can show your parents what we do in class.
Finally, I must add that you will all be expected to set up and run your own blogs which will give you a chance to publish your written, designed and moving image work and make presentations to the class.
The Media is around us 24/7 and using blogs and other forms of online learning will allow you to participate in this ongoing dialogue and will enhance your learning skills, equipping you for further education or the modern workplace.
