REMINDER: All Assignment 1a and 1b coursework is due next Tuesday. Please consult your GCSE coursework handbook for details. If you have not submitted by then you will be required to complete the work in an after school session on Thursday the 22nd from 3.20-4pm.

TUESDAY'S LESSON

On thursday we will be developing your close analytical skills by looking at a trailer.
In the meantime please can you create a page for your recent poster analysis and place this on the weebly site you created last lesson.
I know some of you find this difficult but stick at it and you will begin to appreciate it's value.
FINALLY, the half term is approaching and you as per your GCSE coursework guidebook you are expected to be involved in two days of Film Academy production in the Half term to get ahead on Assignment 3. I will be sending letter home regarding this and will need to know fairly soon if you are able to attend.

Final draft of 1a - DUE TUESDAY 8TH OCTOBER - Please email in advance if possible.
Draft storyboard for 1b - DUE TUESDAY 8TH OCTOBER - Please bring on paper or electronically BUT ENSURE THAT YOU BRING IT.
FINAL DRAFT STORYBOARD - DUE TUESDAY 15TH OCTOBER.
Very important:
All 1a coursework MUST be approximately 500 words - I will except up to 580.
Think about ways to cut, use bullet pointing, annotation, graphs etc.
Ensure that you CREDIT your sources for research - ie. YouTube, band web-sites, fansites etc.
Also remember that 1b can be a combination of images and words, you can use photos, draw pictures or describe what you want shown and how. Include media language, shot sizes, descriptions, anything to help the reader / viewer understand your vision.
